Will You Eat Ramen or Ribeye?
That "cheap" country can cost more than you expect once you add a flat in the right neighbourhood and decent Wi-Fi. Pick a city, say who's moving and where you'd live, and the calculator adds up rent, utilities, internet, food, transport and everyday costs from Livingcost.org's June 2026 city data. Your City Comparison
Source: Livingcost.org, city pages updated June 21, 2026. Rent is the average for a 40 m² 1-bedroom or 80 m² 3-bedroom flat; food, transport and other costs are Livingcost's monthly figures for one person or a family of four. Its prices are partly crowdsourced, so smaller places with few reports can look odd: in Santa Marta and Hoi An, for example, the "cheaper" flat is reported as dearer than the central one. Health insurance, visa fees, flights and deposits are not included.
